Built on the edge of the traditional village of Katouna, at a short distance from the city of Lefkada, Chrisanto 1865 was completely renovated in 2023, and offers moments of relaxation and peace for those who wish to visit this beautiful Ionian island.
It is one of the most historic residences of the area, built exclusively of Maltese stone in 1865 and served as the settlement's school. Later, it came into the possession of the Gourzis family. In 2023 it was completely renovated, retaining, however, its traditional character, as well as the unique architectural elements of the period.
It has two spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and a large attic that serves as the third bedroom. It can easily accommodate 6-8 adults. It provides all modern amenities (Wi-Fi, Smart TVs in the public areas and bedrooms, Netflix, and satellite television, fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, safe-boxes, alarm system).
The big outdoor eternity pool, with its uninterrupted view of the blue Ionian Sea, the outdoor barbecue, and the lush-green garden, complement a comfortable stay. Because of its location, it offers complete privacy for its guests, while well within the village of Katouna. As a result, you can enjoy the quaint village with its historic church of Panagia (Virgin Mary), the traditional restaurants, and the quaint square, while a mini-market, cafe, and grocery shop are at a distance of less than 200 meters.
